New WIZO Pin for Major Donors In January, the World WIZO Fundraising Department publicly introduced its new pin for major donors. Developed by Israeli designer Osnat Weingarten, who trained in Israel and the United States, this “woman of valour” brooch is in the shape of a rainbow, symbolizing hope for the future of Israel’s children. The pin is being made available to WIZO Federations for major donors worldwide for a minimum donation of $10,000. WIZO as Family The World WIZO Fundraising Department has adopted the theme of the WIZO family as the focus of fundraising activity for the year. A brochure on WIZO’s services to children has been produced in conjunction with this theme, featuring the work at WIZO projects around Israel-day care centers, schools and youth villages, and youth clubs. Our WIZO family includes the tens of thousands of Israeli children who benefit from WIZO’s services, as well as the hundreds of thousands of WIZO supporters around the world who make what we do in Israel possible. The “Family Album” brochure is available through WIZO Federation offices around the world in English, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Mark a Special Occasion with a Donation to WIZO The World WIZO Fundraising Department has produced a large range of special certificates and cards. These attractively designed materials are available through WIZO Federations around the world to WIZO contributors who want to mark the special occasions of friends or family-or to honor the memory of a loved one--through a tribute donation to WIZO. There are cards reflecting the donor’s the sponsorship of a child at a WIZO day care center or school, as well as a lovely donor card featuring the artistry of Jerusalem artist Rebecca Shore.
