In three days time,  World WIZO will celebrate its 90th Anniversary.

What a significant milestone !!!!! What an amazing organization!!!!!!!!!

EVENTS
Today,  the parameter of the World WIZO Compound was decorated with the special 90th Anniversary flags (that the World WIZO Organization and Education Department sent you already). I am delighted to report that nearly everyone that passed looked and expressed the same sentiment: "WIZO is 90 already????

On Sunday – World WIZO will open the celebrations at one of our Day Care Centres in the Hatikva neighbourhood in South Tel-Aviv. Members of the World WIZO Executive will attend. Mrs. Yael Huldai, the wife of Mr.  Ron Huldai –Tel-Aviv's Mayor, will honour us with her presence.

In addition, World WIZO chose to commence the 90th Anniversary celebrations with a special tribute to the staff of our Day Care Centres all over the country, that carry out our blessed work with babies, toddlers and pre-school age children.

Obviously, a very special programme has been prepared and includes: 2 families in which 3 generations of women have received services from the WIZO Day Care Centre where the ceremony is taking place and a special song praising WIZO's 90th Anniversary.

We will continue the celebrations in the afternoon at the World WIZO Headquarters by holding a "birthday party" for the Executives and staff of World WIZO and WIZO Israel.
The staff have been asked to dress in white or white and "WIZO blue" (as on the flags) to enhance the festivity of the event.

A special birthday cake with WIZO's Logo (its dimensions are 1 meter x 1 meter) is being donated by the Tel-Aviv Hilton, and toddlers from the WIZO Weizmann Day Care Centre will come and join us. I am sure that the spirit of Rebecca Sieff will be smiling down at us during our gathering, especially as the building's foyer will be holding an exhibition. – WIZO posters "From Then To Now" The exhibition will remain in place throughout the year.

This is just the beginning of this special year of celebration and I am sure that each Federation will find its own unique way to mark this special day. Please share the day with us.

As of yesterday, there is a special 90th Anniversary Message on the World WIZO website. I am sending you the message in English, French and Spanish, so that you too can load it onto your Federation websites.
