12:15-13:00   Panel: WIZO Women as Agents of Change

Social activist Fainy Sukenik-Goldschmidt (33) is a teacher and educational counselor by profession. She is studying towards a master's degree in Educational Counseling from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a fellow of the Mandel Leadership Institute in Israel. In 2013 Fainy participated in " A New Social Order" the women's leadership program created by WIZO Israel in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy.

While participating in this program and after having experienced a painful divorce herself she formulated the idea of establishing a non-profit organization to support ultra-orthodox and religious women through the divorce process.

During her participation in the 2014 WIZO Incubator for Social Enterprise program her vision became a reality with the launching of "Ba’asher Telchi” (“Where you go”) of which she is chairperson. Until today more than 400 ultra-orthodox and religious women from across Israel have made use of the organization's services.

Fainy is an eternal optimist, married and a mother of three.
