I am proud to share with you a report from the Exhibition “Women and their Olive Trees” that was successfully displayed at the European Parliament in Strasbourg from 4th-7th of July 2016
A letter I received from Alegre Smeke, the new President of WIZO México, relating all the events organized by the Federation in the last months
I could sense the excitement of our youngsters, many of whom made an Aliya from the former Soviet countries, who were so deeply moved to see their parents who travelled from their home countries to Israel to be able to share this special moment with them. I also saw the pride in the eyes of the people who, over the past few years, have become their families, here in Nahalal.
Each time I meet a devoted Chavera, a spirited volunteer, and a happy WIZO youngster with a smile on his face, l know we have never lost sight of our mission to nurture and develop our Empire of Good.
The theme of the ceremony was "Reality is bigger than the imagination", and indeed, the reality – the achievement of our youngsters has surpassed all our hopes and dreams.
The extensive damage caused by the rocket did not stop us from continuing with the plans and perform the ceremony in one of the classrooms that was not affected by the impact.
An emotional graduation ceremony in CHW Hadassim Youth Village. An atmosphere of celebration and joy was in the air.
Our commitment to support the people in the south and never to surrender to terrorism is giving them hope and strength to carry on and live a full life.
Holocaust survivor and Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel z'’l was laid to rest and the Jewish world wept. I sent a letter of condolences to his dear wife in the name of the entire WIZO family.
I was honored to represent our WIZO at this prestigious event that brings together leaders, artists and inspiring people who work, like our wonderful organization, for the benefit of the Jewish people in Israel and around the world.
