Paul Zajfen's tireless WIZO activity and fundraising makes him, as WIZO France President Joelle Lezmi told me, "more of a WIZO woman than a WIZO woman," explaining that Paul epitomizes WIZO devotion as much as any chavera.

Today we celebrate the Day of Good Deeds in Israel. It is a day of giving throughout the country, a day people from Metulah to Eilat highlight the importance of charity and volunteerism.
Even before the State of Israel was established, WIZO played a key role in empowering, supporting and advancing the status of women. Since 1920, our work for women has never ceased. We run women's shelters, organize workshops for girls, and at each one of our Day Care Centers, we encourage young girls to follow their dreams.
People around the globe are marking today the 'UN's World Day of Social Justice', highlighting the need and the importance of tackling some of the biggest modern issues, such as poverty, unemployment and inequality.
A truly special gesture: WIZO USA Co-President Jana Falic, as well as WIZO USA Vice- President Judith Groisman, and WIZO Florida Chairperson Ruthy Benoliel, took the initiative to fly to Tampa to visit Marion and Eli Weisel, who could not attend the annual Gala event and present them with an award.
