On this difficult day, we remember the horrors of the Holocaust, we remember the sacred work WIZO did to save lives and support Aliya, and we remember why WIZO's work continues to be vital in protecting the Jewish people in Israel and around the world.

On Wednesday, I was invited, together with all the other leaders of organizations who operate DCC, to the Knesset, where I spoke before the Labor, Welfare and Health Committee to voice our concerns and demands to secure the future of our children and Day Care Centers.

A huge success story of our Olive Tree Exhibition, which continues to do wonders in Europe - this unique WIZO project, which features paintings from Jewish and Arab women from the area of Afula, will be on display at the European Parliament in Strasbourg from 4th July to 8th of July, 2016.

Happy Passover!

April 18, 2016

This Passover, when we sit at the Seder table, let us all be proud to be part of WIZO. We belong to a long tradition of strong, Zionist, and dedicated women who fight for the freedom of our future generations. Thousands of years ago, Moses led our people out of Egypt, and we continue his sacred mission by leading our people forward in this precious land of freedom that is our home – Eretz Israel.

We bid farewell to the outgoing President Mrs. Shula Shrem and welcomed the new President Mrs. Alegre Smeke.

It was a very busy but exciting day. Meeting with all these lovely Chaverot, I could feel the power of our great organization and the strong bond – our sisterhood, which empowers the Jewish people in Israel and around the world.

It is a truly special and rare event when a group of Zionist women - our very own WIZO Mexico – is invited to receive a prestigious award at the Mexican Parliament.

After 9 long months of great renovation work, the WIZO House, the official headquarters of WIZO Mexico, has finally opened– and it is more beautiful than ever.

WIZO Mexico received the Benito Juarez Citizen Merit Award in the category of Civil Society Organizations!

Paul Zajfen's tireless WIZO activity and fundraising makes him, as WIZO France President Joelle Lezmi told me, "more of a WIZO woman than a WIZO woman," explaining that Paul epitomizes WIZO devotion as much as any chavera.
