The excitement at Kibbutz Kfar Aza, in the South of Israel, was unmistakable. Four months after the end of Operation Protective Edge, residents organized a special evening to show their personal appreciation to WIZO for the help offered during the hostilities

specially invited from Israel, moves the audience to tears.

AGAINST A RISING WAVE OF ANTI-SEMITISM IN FRANCE, PROMINENT FRENCH GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVES AND JEWISH COMMUNITY LEADERS ATTEND A WIZO GALA EVENT IN PARIS ON HANUKAH

Israel is a very tiny country, poles apart from China in size, governance, culture and heritage but when it comes to the wellbeing of the child there are parallels to be drawn and Chinese child welfare professionals were eager to learn more about the excellent WIZO model of childcare in the community.

On Wednesday 17 December 2014, Tova Ben-Dov, President of World WIZO joined heads of the National Institutions and Jewish and Zionist Organizations, who gathered in Jerusalem for the Periodical Briefing organized by the IDF Spokesperson's Unit. The theme was Explanations, difficulties and conclusions of the Protective Edge Campaign.

SUMMARY OF WIDESPREAD WIZO ACTIVITY TO RAISE AWARENESS IN ISRAEL AND RECRUIT ISRAELI SOCIETY IN GENERAL TO THE STRUGGLE AGAINST VIOLENCE.

A wonderful and moving activity involving WIZO and Artists4Israel, an organization of American artists that works to raise awareness of Israel via art and education, took place recently.
