WIZO congratulates the State of Israel on 70 years of independence.

WIZO wishes you a very Happy Pesach!

From playground duties in WIZO Day Care Centers, gardening and decorating at WIZO schools and youth villages, to working in the kitchens of WIZO's Parent's Home, the WIZO team exemplified WIZO’s volunteering spirit.

From female celebrities smashing sexists myths to the construction of a glass ceiling in the middle of Tel Aviv to raise awareness of gender inequality, WIZO marked and celebrated International Women's Day 2018 with several important initiatives and events.

Three students from the WIZO Nir Ha’Emek Youth Village Mishpachton, a special foster home for students during their high school years, joyfully celebrated their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs in a wonderful event including 20 of their peers.

Two hundred teenage girls from all over Israel gathered at WIZO's headquarters in Tel Aviv to mark the culmination of this year's Otzma Tzeira ("Young Strength") project, a program which empowers them through the teaching of photography, film, theater, and more.

Thanks to generous contributions from the Harari family and the Jewish community of Panama, "Yad Mordechai", a beautiful new synagogue, was dedicated at the WIZO Gan Va'Nof Youth Village in Petach Tikva.

WIZO South Africa joined forces with the Israeli Embassy and Wheelchairs of Hope to donate 50 kid-friendly wheelchairs from Israel to disabled children in South Africa.

Under the slogan "One in three kids is hungry", the students of WIZO Nir Ha'Emek enlisted local eateries to support their 4th annual "Day Without Hunger" campaign by selling food for just 2 NIS.

The Social Yard enables children to enjoy activities outside the classroom as they learn social interaction skills in a beautiful place that suits their specific needs.
