IMG 3894This week, ahead of her mission to South Africa, to participate in the WIZO South Africa Triennial Conference on Nov. 21-22, former Knesset Member Dr. Einat Wilf visited several WIZO projects in Israel, in order to enrich her knowledge of WIZO's contributions to Israeli life and society.

Born in Jerusalem, Dr. Wilf is a former IDF intelligence officer (in the elite 8200 unit), foreign policy advisor to Vice Prime Minister Shimon Peres and strategic consultant with McKinsey & Company. She has authored several books, the latest of which, Winning the War of Words: Essays on Israel and Zionism, discusses the phenomenon of anti-Israel propaganda and the BDS campaign around the world.

IMG 3889Accompanied by Tova Ben-Dov, President of World WIZO, Dr. Wilf visited the Neve WIZO foster home in Herzliya and the Ironi Cariera High School, in Tel Aviv, where at-risk youth receive a vocational education. "I was deeply moved to witness, first-hand, the work that WIZO is doing," said Dr. Wilf.

Ms. Ben-Dov added, "I'm 100% sure that Dr. Wilf will be of the utmost value to the conference. She is a wonderful advocate of Israel and an expert in her field."

WIZO wishes Dr. Wilf a meaningful, safe trip and WIZO South Africa a successful conference!
