Tova met Israel's former Ambassador to Austria and Switzerland – Aviv Shir-On who is now the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He praised WIZO's representatives in the UN in Geneva and Vienna and emphasized the close relationship he developed with them.
Tova was seated with ICJP representatives from Argentina and Chile and Israel's former Ambassadors to Chile, Mexico, Brazil and Bolivia.
It is a great honour for WIZO to be invited to such events and affords Tova, in her capacity as World WIZO President, the platform to present WIZO's activities regarding human rights and minorities, as well as to serve as an ambassador of public diplomacy – hasbara.
