WIZO Updates on Security Crises in Israel

A survey of the WIZO programs and services that were effected by the emergency crises security situation

November 12, 2019

Spanish

Since early this morning, November 12, 2019, over 150 rockets have been launched from Gaza aimed at Israelis civilians as far away as Tel Aviv. Life was shut down for millions of Israelis, many of whom have spent most of today in shelters and safety rooms, waiting for incoming rockets and for the BOOM of Iron Dome Interceptors.

Fortunately, nobody has been killed, but dozens are injured, and countless others traumatized, and not for the first or second time. Property destroyed, valuable resources wasted, lives disrupted.

Because of the scope and ferociousness of the attack, defense authorities ordered all  workplaces and schools to close, except for essential services.

Here is a survey of the WIZO programs and services that were effected.

Additional updates, videos, photos and other original content may be found at the World WIZO Facebook page.
