WIZO Kids Victoria collaborated with C-Care to make 150 Mishloach Manot gift bags to be sent out as an added extra with their usual food deliveries. C-Care is a volunteer-driven organization that looks to improve the lives of individuals who are “doing it tough”, generally living in isolation. WIZO Kids joined with them to help give the recipients back their humanity.

45 WIZO Kids attended and some parents joined in and gave their support too. The children decorated bags, made masks and wrote Purim cards for the recipients. They all brought healthy kosher snacks on the day to fill the decorated bags. They also made a ‘Breakfast in a Bag’ cereal mix. Some families were even able to hand deliver these meals, which put beautiful smiles on their faces!

The WIZO kids, aged 7-12 years old, are encouraged to become involved within the community that they live in, as well as raising money for children in Israel and every WIZO Kids event opens with a short talk about WIZO.

Lisa Sellyn (Co-President) said, "WIZO Kids are a drop of water in a huge WIZO sea, where everyone is there to support the same cause. It is really beautiful."
