Summer is in full swing in Israel – but so is Operation Iron Swords, Israel’s war against Hamas. We are immensely proud and grateful that so many of you have visited Israel on crucial solidarity missions. On appearance, it looks like Israelis are moving forward and are extremely resilient. While we are resilient, if you scratch beneath the surface, we are still deep in trauma. We have had to flex our resilience muscle like never before. There are so many challenges facing us as a nation and as the Jewish people, and I do believe that we will come out of this different – but stronger.
We will prevail! We always do.
