Straight Facts
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families Shana Tova – may we all be inscribed for a year of joy, prosperity, health and peace.
Today we are marking one year since 7 October.
How do we even find the words? How do we adequately express the sorrow and grief we feel? The 7th of October was a day that marked a seminal change in Israeli and Jewish history. What has followed has been a year of war, both on our northern and southern borders and a tsunami of antisemitism unleashed around the world. The losses have been enormous and time has not healed any wounds.
There are still 101 hostages who remain in Hamas captivity in agonizing conditions. It has also been a year where Jews have displayed tremendous unity, pride and resilience – even in the hardest of times. This is why we will prevail. We may be different people that we were on 6 October last year, but we are taller, stronger and prouder!
In this edition of Straight Facts, we hear from a dissident from Gaza what life under Hamas is like, view the evidence collected off terrorists, listen in to important conversations and more.
May the memories of all who we have lost, be eternally blessed.
