Dear Chaverot

I hope that you are all well. I write this in the days following Yom Hashoa, Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha’atzmaut. These are days where we are acutely aware of what the price is when we don’t have a state and an army, the price that many have paid to ensure our freedom – and our gratitude for the miracle we have built in our ancient, ancestral homeland.

In these difficult days post 7 October, when Israel is still as war and the ugly face of antisemitism rears its head in many of your communities, we are reminded of the special community that we have built through WIZO – and what we have endured in our over 100 years as a movement.

We are proud to be WIZO – the Women’s International Zionist Movement. Your work and dedication is helping hundreds of thousands of Israelis through these extremely challenging times – Thank you!!!
