I hope that you are all well. A lot has happened in the last month. Our brave forces have recovered the remains of hostages who have now been laid to rest with dignity. At the time of writing, 50 hostages remain captive – we want them all home NOW!

In the early hours of Friday, 13 June, Israel launched “Operation Rising Lion”, a pre-emptive strike in self-defense to neutralize Iran’s nuclear programme. What followed is now known as “The 12 Day war”. Iranian missiles killed 28 and caused significant damage to structures – including 16 WIZO facilities. We appreciate every support for our Emergency campaign. We also encourage as many people to visit as possible – Israel’s tourism industry has been greatly impacted. Next month’s edition of Straight Facts will include more analysis on Operation Rising Lions.

In this edition of Straight Facts we look at libelous accusations of starvation in Gaza, the industry of hate created by the media, hear from former hostages and more.
