Dear Chaverot

I hope this finds you well. We have just welcomed in a new year in the Hebrew calendar and my fervent wish is for all of our hostages to be released immediately, our soldiers to all return safely and for this tsunami of antisemitism to end. It’s a reasonable ask!! Over the last year, I was immensely honoured to go on two WIZO missions – to Australia and Canada and what a privilege it has been to meet so many of you.

This past year we have seen an alarming rise of antisemitism and I have heard horrific accounts of personal experiences from so many of you.

One of the reasons I started Straight Facts, is to ensure that you are equipped and empowered with the facts to fight back against the misinformation and mistruths. Please share it with your Federations and communities.

Rolene Marks is a freelance journalist, broadcaster and keynote speaker who appears on international radio, television and has been published in numerous global publications. Rolene is the owner of Rolene Marks Consulting, specializing in Media, Public Relations, and Consulting on Jewish and Israel-related issues. Rolene is a member of the World WIZO Executive holding the Public Diplomacy portfolio and represents World WIZO at the UN Alliance of Civilizations sessions on antisemitism. She is also World WIZO’s representative to the International Alliance of Women.
