Dear Chaverot
I hope this finds you well. I write this at a time of tenuous ceasefire with Iran following Operations Lion’s Roar and Epic Fury launched against the despotic Iranian regime. At the moment, Israelis skies are open and all emergency guidelines are dropped – but the lingering question remains, for how long? For Israel’s citizens of the north, bombardments from Hezbollah missiles and drones has been relentless, testing that ceasefire to its limits.
While all this happens, Israel has to defend itself in the public domain, taking on accusation after accusation while antisemitism continues to soar.
In this edition of Straight Facts, we unpack the genocide accusation and the threat it poses to other western countries, look more closely at human rights abuse in Iran and campaigns to undermine Israel, bear witness to hostage survivor testimony and more.
