Straight Facts

Every edition of Straight Facts brings with it the opportunity to share a variety of different content that is relevant and important to so many of the issues facing Israel and the Jewish people. This edition is no different.

Dear Chaverot,

I hope this finds you well.

Israel is heading into the summer season and we hope to welcome you here for some much needed tourism as the skies open up and airlines resume flights. At the time of writing this, the precarious ceasefire with Iran continue to hold – albeit while we wait to see what final negotiations bring.

Israelis will also head to the polls later this year in what will be one of our most dramatic elections and while the partisan politicking will begin, WIZO remains resolute in our stance that we are non-partisan and will work with whatever administration is in office so that we can do what matters and serve the citizens of Israel. Our work is made possible with your stellar support. Thank you!!

Every edition of Straight Facts brings with it the opportunity to share a variety of different content that is relevant and important to so many of the issues facing Israel and the Jewish people. This edition is no different and there is a smorgasbord of interesting articles and podcasts including perspectives on Zionism, hearing from former hostages, examining the data on global antisemitism and more.

Please share with your Federations and communities.

I hope this is of service to you.

Warm regards
