I Am Here. Now More Than Ever.

WIZO’s new campaign launched on Yom Ha’atzmaut calls Jews around the world to raise their voices and share personal reflections in response to this moment in our history.
On October 7th, the ground shifted beneath our feet. The events of that day, and the war that followed, deeply impacted every corner of the Jewish world. At the same time, a wave of antisemitism — the likes of which many of us never thought we would see again — rose around the globe.
In the face of this darkness, we are choosing light. We are choosing presence.
We are saying: We are still here.
That is the spirit behind I Am Here — a campaign launched by WIZO on Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s 77th Independence Day. But this isn’t a one-time initiative. The video we released is just the beginning — a spark to ignite a wider, global conversation. It’s an invitation to every Jew, everywhere, to reflect, respond, and raise their voice.

What does Zionism mean to you today?
How has your Jewish identity changed since October 7th?
What does it mean, now more than ever, to say I Am Here?
We are calling on Jews around the world to take part by sharing short personal video messages — even just 20 or 30 seconds long. Speak from the heart. Share what you feel. These clips may be featured on WIZO’s platforms, included in future posts, or woven together into a collective video project that tells our shared story of resilience and unity.
To join the campaign, simply record your message — nothing fancy, just you and your truth — and post it on social media using the hashtag #iamhere2025. Tag us at @worldwizo so we can find it, amplify it, and keep this dialogue growing. If you prefer, you can send it to us directly.
This campaign is ongoing. It will grow with your stories, your voices, your presence. Because more than ever before, it matters that the world hears us say:
We are one people. We are still here.
