These children were already living with hardship. Now, many have been uprooted, lost loved ones, and endured night after night in bomb shelters. The emotional toll is staggering.

A recent State Comptroller’s report reveals the full extent of the crisis:

• Mental health services after October 7 were alarmingly insufficient.

• Government agencies failed to provide trauma therapy to children in need.

• Experts warn the critical window for trauma intervention is just six months—yet only a small fraction of affected children received help.

• In Sderot, only 4% of children accessed mental health treatment. Thousands are still suffering—silently.
