Who is Saul Singer?

Saul Singer, an American-born journalist who advised members of Congress before moving to Israel 30 years ago, interviewed scores of Israelis, from entrepreneurs to politicians to religious leaders and TV writers.
Saul Singer is the co-author of a new book, “The Genius of Israel: The Surprising Resilience of a Divided Nation in a Turbulent World,” which he co-wrote with Dan Senor. The two rocketed to best-selling status with their first book, “Start Up Nation: The Story of Israel’s Economic Miracle.”
Saul is a columnist and former editorial page editor at The Jerusalem Post. He will be the keynote speaker at our World WIZO special session, “Israel at 76: Genius, Resilience, and the Struggle for Survival in a Hostile World.”
Born and raised in New York city, Saul moved to Israel in 1994 and now lives with his wife and three daughters in Jerusalem. When he published “Start Up Nation,” he dedicated it to his late brother, Alex, who was killed at the age of 25 during an Israeli military operation in Lebanon. Alex’s letters and drawings were later published as a book.
