– Mental health support for those affected post-October 7 was found to be grossly inadequate.
– Several government agencies failed to deliver essential therapy to the children who need it most.
– Healthcare professionals warn that optimal trauma intervention is within six months—but only a small fraction of the thousands of affected children have received any therapy.
– In Sderot specifically, ONLY 4% of children have received mental health treatment, leaving countless more without help.
