Levi is 9 years old and his family immigrated to Israel 2 years ago, settling in Sderot. When the war broke out mere weeks later, he found himself isolated, the language barrier only making things worse.Many nights were spent in the bomb shelter of the apartment block in which he lived.
And then, without much warning, he was ordered to pack a bag and leave Sderot for safer areas further North.
Levi soon developed anxiety and panic attacks become a regular occurrence, especially as missiles flew overhead.
