Over 20 women of all ages gathered in Bern for the annual "Challa Bake" as part of the worldwide "Shabbat Project".
The idea behind the Shabbat Project, which started five years ago in South Africa, is simple: Jews from all walks of life, from across the spectrum of religious affiliation, young and old, from all corners of the world – come together to experience the magic of one full Shabbat kept together. The Shabbat Project transcends barriers that divide and unites Jews across the globe.
The WIZO women in Bern very much enjoyed making challa together and bonding together in the process.
