doing what matters
Since 1920
103 YEARS
WIZO was established in London in 1920 as a non-partisan movement to improve Israeli society. Since then, it has become an integral part of the lives of hundreds of thousands of women, youth and children.
A GLOBAL WORLDWIDE FORCE
With the support of our members around the world, we give underprivileged populations in Israel the opportunity to create a better future, lead the struggle to promote women’s rights, raise the next generation, and strengthen vulnerable families.
800 PROGRAMS AND INSTITUTIONS
Spread across the country, WIZO is the largest social welfare organization in Israel, offering educational and social services for a wide swath of the population.
