World WIZO is looking for international volunteers who would like to experience a professional fundraising or marketing internship based in the center of Tel Aviv. The length of the summer internship is between 3-6 months based on 20 hours of work per week and suitable for individuals who are either college students or who are in the early stages of their careers. Candidates must have excellent English communication skills, interest in nonprofit work, are visiting Israel for an extended period of time, or are living in Israel.
External Relations Division
Resource Development
Interning in the External Relation Division offers volunteers from abroad the opportunity to gain valuable experience in international non-profit fundraising and development while volunteering for a top organization dedicated to assisting women, children and the elderly in Israel.
Duties include translating and writing campaign materials and reports, and researching new and important ways to grow WIZO’s donation base and awareness. The work environment is dynamic and friendly and a wonderful experience for those interested in a career in Jewish communal service.
Knowledge of Hebrew, along with French and/or Spanish is a bonus, as well as some familiarity with non-profit organizations and fundraising.
Marketing and Communications
Interning in the Marketing Department of the External Relations Division offers volunteers from abroad the opportunity to gain valuable experience in digital marketing in an international non-profit organization dedicated to assisting women, children and the elderly in Israel.
While learning about the history and work of WIZO, volunteers in the Marketing Division assist in translating and writing social media content, creating reels, researching and pitching blog entries for WIZO’s website, updating various sections of the website, going out to interview subjects and also cover WIZO events at WIZO projects across Israel.
The work environment is very dynamic and a wonderful experience for those interested in a career in Jewish nonprofits and/or marketing.
Knowledge of Hebrew, along with French and/or Spanish is a bonus as well as some writing experience.
