A message from Esther Mor for Yom Hazikaron (Memorial Day for the Fallen Soldiers of Israel and Victims of Terror)

"People that do not know their past, their present is dull and their future is hidden in the mist." - Igal Alon

On my mission to South Africa I saw a lovely land, met wonderful WIZO members that carry out extraordinary activities; and Jewish and local communities that appreciate WIZO's amazing work for the underprivileged and handicapped.

On Purim, in order to be able to fulfill "feasting and merrymaking", we are obliged to make sure that the poor and less fortunate are also able to be merry.

May her memory be blessed. May G-d comfort her family among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem

"Without memory, there is no culture.
Without memory, there would be no civilization, no society, no future."
Elie Wiesel z"l

Seminar Aviv 2017

We can all be proud of our younger WIZO generation and hopefully future leadership. They have the desire and the motivation and I am sure that this week will increase their thirst to do more.
