- Were forced to close down during WWII but continued to help Jews by hiding them from Nazis
- Federation revived after the war
- Currently 3 WIZO sections in Belgium: Antwerp, Brussels, Liege
- One section in Luxembourg
- Fundraising and cultural activities include art auctions, bridge, concerts, lecturers, film nights, and panels in the European Parliament Headquarters
