History
- WIZO Norway was once the northernmost WIZO federation in the world
- WIZO in Oslo was founded in 1931
- In 1940, Norway was occupied by the Nazis, and all WIZO work ceased, all records destroyed
- The federation was revived in 1946
- A separate chapter in Trondheim was active before the war and then revived in 1946
- Norwegian WIZO was twice host to Inter-Scandinavian WIZO Conferences: in 1956 and 1963
- The major fundraising event was the annual bazaar
- Norway once sponsored the day care center in Ashdod and the youth club in Ahuzam
