Lucia Balassiano President

WIZO Brazil is present in 12 centres in 11 states and in the capital, Brasilia. We are dedicated to women’s empowerment, social justice and the preservation of Jewish traditions within our community. In addition, WIZO Brazil has the role of coordinating and strengthening the Centres, promoting the exchange of experiences  guiding them in overcoming challenges. We believe in the power of unity, solidarity and respect, principles that guide each of our initiatives. We want to build a future where Jewish identity is celebrated and respected, promoting respect for cultural diversity. In doing so, we aim to provide a safe and welcoming space for everyone, and especially for future generations, where they can strengthen their roots. In this administration, we are proposing a larger and more innovative executive, always committed to bringing people together, using an open and increasingly modern language, bringing the Centres even closer together. May we walk side by side with World WIZO projects, always guided by the light of tradition, education, social support and renewal.
